Visit from some deer

This morning we noticed a deer on the far side of the ravine out of the back of our house. Over the course of the day, it came in and out of sight (it was very well camouflaged in the tall grass of the ravine).

Just before sunset, the deer came over to our side of the ravine and we realized...

We had been seeing three separate deer. It was pretty impressive, especially since we usually only see them in the fall.

We have been taking full advantage of the beautiful weather here in Toronto these last couple of days. On the weekend, when we got home, Isaac was sound asleep, so we pulled his stroller into the front hall, unzipped him and left him to sleep :)

Playing with Mommy

Isaac and Mommy have started getting into a routine...We get up in the morning and have a big play in his gym. He mostly just wiggles around, but it is fun for Mommy, and it gives him some stimulation and some tummy-time.

Then, of course, its nap time.

Finally, we go out in the afternoon, either for a big walk, or just for a run to the grocery store, depending on the weather... this is where Isaac waits while Mommy gets her stuff on and gets the stroller ready. Doesn't seem to bother him a bit :)

One month old

Today Isaac is one month old!! Trying the overalls again...

hopefully this time they stay clean at least until Daddy gets home :)

This morning Isaac and Mommy did lots of playing in his chair and on the couch. Isaac it tracking objects really well. I can't believe how quickly he changes!

After all the playing he was pretty tuckered, so he went down for a big snooze on the round chair in the livingroom. Not sure what I'll do when he starts rolling around, but for now it works great! He can nap and I can prepare supper and I can still keep an eye on him.

More visitors

All dressed up in one of his new outfits, Isaac waits to meet Cynthia and Danelle...too bad the outfit didn't make it that long. It was sure cute while it lasted though :)

Meeting Nanny Crosby

Nanny Crosby came for a visit New Year's Eve and stayed to help out for a few days.

First stroller ride

Isaac's first outing in his stroller. He wasn't too impressed at first, but he settled down quickly and now sleeps through all our walks...even when we have to make a stop.
