More from Deep River

Yesterday, Monday, it was so hot, that we needed to go for a swim, but the water was really rough, so we decided to have a pool day in the neighbour's yard instead of going to the beach. It was great fun!

Isaac and Taylor had fun playing "shark" until the Isaac decided the water was too cold for his liking.

Today, Tuesday, Mommy gave Isaac his breakfast out on the back lawn because Rich and Tab came by, and brought their puppy Jed. The puppy seemed to think Isaac needed help keeping his face clean.

Maybe he was right.

Then, in the afternoon, after a trip to Pembroke, Mommy and Granma took Isaac to Pine Point Beach. Isaac's first trip ever to a beach, and within less than 5 minutes of being put down on the blanket, he had grabbed a big handful of sand and stuck it in his mouth. Oh well, Mommy's pretty sure she ate her fair share of sand when she was a kid, and she turned out OK.

The water was great. The level is so low that the water was like bath water!!! Mommy and Granma wanted to get out before Isaac did.

But then it was play time on the beach, and Isaac got to play with his new beach toys, including one of his favorite thing....a BUCKET!!!

First visit to Deep River

Isaac's first trip to the big Deep River.

Spent the first day just settling in, getting to know Granma and checking out all the fun toys she had :)

Then Uncle Jason came for a visit on Saturday, and they had fun playing with Isaac's fire truck.

Isaac really seemed to like playing in the grass with Mommy. It was very soft. He kept trying to eat it, but that's ok. :)


While sitting outside, Tab and Richard came by on their motorcycle, ans Isaac got to sit on it. Looks like he wanted to go for a ride! Not yet buddy, maybe Richard will take you down the street next year.

Playing at the park

Took Isaac for a walk to the park on Saturday. Since no one was there, Isaac got to try out the jungle gym and swing set.

He really like the slide!! He didn't go very far, just as far up as Mommy could reach so she could hold him the whole way, but he still liked to slide down. Even lifted up his legs so they didn't stick :)

The swings were a bit big (even the baby swings), but it was still fun.

Did we mention Isaac is finally getting his teeth. When this picture was taken, his first one was just breaking through. When they come in, we'll be sure to get a picture :)

Mommy, Daddy and Isaac all went to the local Canada Day festivities to check out what was going on.

Had a blast playing in the grass on this beautiful day.

Playing is hard work! Isaac passed out on the way back to the car, and slept the whole way home.

Mommy thought is would be fun to let Isaac play with his oatmeal and bananas the other night. It was certainly funny. Hard to tell from this picture, but it was EVERYWHERE!! In his hair, on the floor, up to his elbows, everywhere!

Stuck at home waiting on a repair guy that never came. We still had fun though :)

Mommy introduced Isaac to Tupperware ;)
